Design a Schoolwide Approach to SEL

Facilitator: Stacy Stephens

Stacy has over a decade of experience in educational leadership as a Director of Learning and program developer.  A certified Health Educator and former mentoring lead in schools, in her SEL work Stacy brings together her experience in the area of SEL Education and program design in schools.  She is the facilitator of the International SEL Framework that was constructed with four international schools and is now available under a Creative Commons License. She is working to support schools to design whole school approaches to SEL and has led this work at the International School of Beijing and the International School of Kuala Lumpur as a Director of Learning. Beginning her third year of supporting schools as a consultant, Whole School SEL is a focus of her work in schools as they adopt the framework and seek to create environments characterized by a focus on SEL from a program development perspective.
